Having spent ten years in the corporate world, I understand the challenges of a busy and hectic lifestyle.

Most of us have schedules that barely allow us to eat sitting down, let alone prepare whole foods in a way that maximizes their nutritional capacity. That doesn’t mean you can’t be healthy.

When you make small consistent changes and choose the right foods and supplements to maximize their health benefits, it can have a significant impact on your results and overall health. Short cuts unfortunately don’t work, and they are not sustainable. I’ve tried them myself and I see countless clients that struggle after trying the latest fad diet, program or pill.

What is a holistic approach?

North Americans are facing a health crisis. Our current food supply consists primarily of items that are fast, convenient, manufactured, and modified. Obesity and degenerative disease rates are the highest in the world, not to mention daily symptoms that we have come to accept as a part of life – headaches, insomnia, heartburn, irritability and digestive distress. These seemingly common symptoms are not normal, they are our body’s way of telling us that something is out of balance and needs our attention.

A holistic approach to wellness addresses the individual as a whole, with the belief that everything is connected. It seeks to sustain the body by looking at the root of each symptom, physical, mental and emotional. Emphasis is placed on supporting the body’s vital organ systems, rather than suppression of symptoms.
